Magellan Explorer
magellan explorer bow

The Magellan Explorer is capable of carrying 100 guests, however she will take just 69 passengers on her fly cruise voyages. Her maiden voyage to Antarctica will be in November 2019. The ship has 50 suites and cabins in five categories, including dedicated single cabins. The cabins are spacious, ranging in size from 20 to 40 square metres. 42 cabins feature a large window and a private balcony, 8 have a porthole. All cabins feature a private bathroom and a sitting area. She has a forward-facing observation lounge, an observation deck, a dining room that accommodates everyone at one sitting. She also has an outdoor barbecue area, a gym, and a sauna. The bow of the ship is accessible to guests to offer expansive views during exploration.

Ocean Nova

Ocean Nova is a modern and comfortable vessel. She was built in Denmark in 1992 to sail the ice-choked waters of Greenland, and her ice-strengthened hull is ideally suited for expedition travel in Antarctica. The vessel has capacity for 72 passengers accommodated in simple and comfortable outside cabins, all with private facilities, including twin, triple and dedicated single cabins. In addition to a glass-enclosed observation lounge and presentation room, she also has a spacious dining room, a bar, a library and an infirmary. With a maximum of just 68 guests not only can they all be accommodated on a single flight from (or to) Punta Arenas – she also can get everyone into zodiacs and ashore in a short period of time – maximising exploration time.

Hebridean Sky

The Hebridean Sky can accommodate has been limited to just 71 guests on the Fly-Cruise voyages. The reason for this is to accommodate everyone on a single flight from (or to) Punta Arenas – a greater number of guests would require two flights; and the inherent delay waiting for the second flight as well as the increased risk of possible delays associated with poor weather. The Hebridean Sky has always been known for its effortless elegance, impeccable service and atmosphere of charm and camaraderie. Originally built in 1992 and refurbished in 2016 , this luxury cruise ship provides fine service and four-star amenities. Each suite has ocean views and is elegantly designed with a sitting area. Several suites have private balconies accessed via sliding glass doors.
