Quark Expeditions was founded in 1991 and is arguably one of the pioneers when it comes to expedition travel to the Polar regions. Quark Expeditions now has three quite different ships; the brand new state of the art Ultramarine equipped with two helicopters, the World Explorer (2019) and the classic older expedition ship the Ocean Adventurer.
